graphic tutorial #6 : picspam
i don't know if this is a nice edit or not but i've worked hard on it. pardon me if i have any mistake in this tutorial.
resources :
- iu in 'when would it be' music video screencap (
x x x x x x x x )
- watercolour texture (
x )
1. ctrl + N for new. open new canvas with 500 px width and 550 px height. and leave it like that cuz we need to work on our screencaps .
2. now, first u need to find your caps, for me , i love to use caps from music videos especially iu's mv. after u get ur desired screencaps, create a new canvas , ( 250px by 140px ) and paste the image that u want to use into it and resize the image.
>> first, i'll teach you how to get this effect since it will be the base colouring for others image too.
(actually the effect is really really depend on your image , so please keep it in mind that you dont have to follow each of my steps)
- add new adjustment layer > curves > lift the curve on the center a little higher
- new adjustment layer > channel mixer :
output channel ; red , - red: + 95
output channel ; green , - green: + 98
output channel ; blue, - red: +18, - green: - 19, blue: +100
- new adjustment layer > selective color > choose the color; cyan
cyan : +34
magenta : +19
yellow : -23
- new adjustment layer > vibrance > vibrance +87
- add another curves.
- add brightness/contrast > brightness +12
- adjustment layer > gradient map > black and white > change the layer style to soft light with opacity of 50%
- add another curves just like the earlier step
- add contrast around + 23 in brightness/contrast
- add another curve
>> now for the next image :
- use the same colouring/effect yang kita baru buat tadi and use it as our base.
- to get the greenish effect . go to adjustment layer > solid color > choose green color , i used
#7de223 . then, change the layer style to overlay with 66% opacity.
- add another green solid color , ((with the same color code ofcourse .)) > set the layer style to darken.
- adjustment layer > curves >
>> next ,
- use the same base colouring except dont make it too bright ((u kno bcs of the curves)) so basically u have to untick some of the curves.
- create new layer > click eyedropper tool or shortcut I >
- take brush > choose soft brush > and color ur image to cover the unwanted part.
- adjustment layer > exposure > offset
+0.0124
>> next
- edit your image > then open any watercolor texture and paste it above the image layer .
- select the watercolour texture layer > right click > create clipping mask > change the layer style to lighten
>> next
- use the same base coloring.
- adjustment layer > solid color > choose #fed57e > change the layer style to multiply
- add brightness/contrast > brightness +75 > u are done .
>> next
- use the same coloring base
- new adjustment layer > solid color (( choose pink )) > change the layer style to soft light
- duplicate the layer .
>> next
- basically this is just them same as image no. 4 , so please just repeat all the steps above.
>> next
- repeat all the steps for image 3. and add curves or brightness .
- now you are done . arrange all the image on your first canvas and dont forget to save it .
if you have any questions , just ask me directly on my ask fm . thank you
